House System
We have a thriving house system and all look forward to the final assembly of each term when the score for each house is read out and the champion house for that term announced. At the end of each year all scores are totalled and we present the house cup for the year, to tremendous applause and cheers from the winning house.
All members of the school community belong to one of four houses at St. Mary's C.E. Middle School.
To reflect the rural location of our school, on the edge of Puddletown forest, the houses are named after trees. The table below shows you which classes and staff belong to each house.
